Role: Social Media Management, Blogging and E-Mail Marketing
Timeline: November 2014 to March 2015
During my 5 month marketing campaign with Dr. Segal’s, I was able to kick-start their social media platforms. Working with their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we saw their social media following grow over 1,000+%.
I managed their social media daily, posting new content and engaging with customer feedback and comments. I also ran numerous Giveaways, Sales, and Promotions that doubled their online sales previous to my hire.
In addition, I wrote 2 monthly blog posts that were written for SEO. Some blogs saw as much as 150 social media likes where as blogs written before I came on often saw 0 to 2 likes.
At the end of every month we also distributed a monthly newsletter that helped to build customer loyalty and drive online sales. We ran a big campaign before Christmas that more than 4x the previous years December sales.
This 5 month campaign was designed to build up awareness before their Dragons’ Debut on March 4, 2015. To prepare for this, I ran numerous social media promotions, conducted blogger outreach, wrote and distributed a PR, notified current email list subscribers via a newsletter, and wrote a blog to feature the upcoming episode.
